Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers a tranquil, tropical escape that feels worlds away from the theme parks — while still keeping you exceptionally well connected. Inspired by the colorful islands of the Caribbean, this sprawling lakeside resort features pastel buildings, sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, and a relaxed, vacation-at-the-shore vibe.
As a Moderate Resort, Caribbean Beach sits comfortably between Value and Deluxe categories, offering enhanced dining, a feature pool with a water slide, and a full-service table-service restaurant — all while serving as the main hub for the Disney Skyliner.
From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

Who Should Consider Another Resort

Travelers who want interior hallways or luxury spa-style amenities
Guests who plan to spend most of their time at Magic Kingdom (bus-only transportation)
Resort Theming
Caribbean Beach Resort is divided into six “island villages,” each inspired by a different Caribbean destination:
Martinique
Barbados
Trinidad
Jamaica
Aruba
Cayman Islands
Each village features its own color palette and architectural style, connected by winding pathways around Barefoot Bay, the resort’s scenic central lake. The result is a peaceful, immersive environment that feels like a true island getaway.
Room Types Available

Approximate Size: ~314 sq. ft.
Capacity: Sleeps up to 5 guests (3+ years old)
Typical Location: Located in Jamaica, Aruba, and Trinidad.
Some Trinidad rooms have been updated to the Little Mermaid inspired room decor, but they are the furthest from the pool areas and Skyliner.
These are closer to the Skyliner stations but further from the main pool and main hub.

Why Upgrade to a Preferred Room?
Best For: Families, first-time visitors, and guests who value convenience
Caribbean Beach Resort is known for its large footprint, which can mean long walks from some villages to dining and transportation. A Preferred Room places you closer to Old Port Royale, the Feature Pool, and dining locations — making it perfect for those spending more time at the pool or wanting easy access to food. It does not mean you will be closer to the Skyliner though.

Located in the EPCOT Resort Area, Caribbean Beach Resort sits along the Disney Skyliner route and serves as the main transfer hub. This provides seamless aerial transportation to both EPCOT’s International Gateway and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
