Each Disney Cruise Line ship has three main restaurants on board, each with its own distinctive theme to give you an aesthetic experience along with your edible delights.

Would you expect anything less?

Each night onboard you’ll dine at one of the three to ensure you get to enjoy all the ship has to offer - there’s a different theme each evening. Your schedule will be provided to you when you board the ship.

Two things that don’t change are your table mates, and your server.

Another thing Disney does well (it’s a long list) is service. By assigning you a single serving team for the entire cruise - they’ll travel with you from restaurant to restaurant each evening - Disney ensures a friendly, warm, and exceptional level of service. Your serving team gets to know you and your family; your names, likes and dislikes, and comes to feel like a member of your party.

Is that magical or what?

Disney Cruise Line will also pair you with table mates. And they do it very thoughtfully. No random strangers here - you’ll be paired with similar groups (couples with couples, families with families, etc.) so you may be surprised to find you enjoy the company. Yes, private tables can be requested but they aren’t guaranteed. If you’d like to request one, you can stop by Guest Services when you board the ship. If this is especially important to you, be sure to talk with your travel advisor when booking to see what can be done.
Making Dinner Reservations Aboard Your Disney Cruise Ship

Dining reservations are made as part of your cruise reservation - meaning, at the time you book - so you’ll want to be prepared with your preferred dining/seating time, and table size (party size) when you book your Disney Cruise.

Always accommodating, Disney Cruise Line will do their best to provide the time you select. Booking with a travel agent can simplify the process. If you don’t receive your requested reservation at the time of booking, you can ask to be waitlisted for the dining time you prefer, or visit Guest Services once you board the ship. It’s also possible to connect with the Dining team from your stateroom phone or by using the Disney Cruise Line app (how cool is that?)

Traveling with a group? Disney will link your reservations so your entire party can be seated at the same table.

Traveling with a large group? They may be even be able to combine tables. Your travel advisor can help.
Keep in mind that with 850-1500 people dining onboard each night, reservations are an important part of the Disney cruise experience, so if you won’t be dining in the dining room one evening, be sure to notify your server.

Dining on Disney Cruise Line: The Complete List of Restaurants and More

We’ve brought you the complete list of restaurants aboard all of Disney’s ships with a little morsel (see what we did there) about the atmosphere and menu of each, starting with the main restaurants you’ll experience as part of your rotational dining reservations.

Bon Apetit.

1923 (Disney Wish, Disney Treasure)
Sound familiar? 1923 is the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, and this restaurant is an elegant celebration of Disney history, as well as a glimpse into the golden age of animation. Naturally the menu is California fare; sophisticated, but with the needs of families in mind.

Just like the Golden State itself, the menu here is a blend of Asian, European and South American cuisines, prepared with fresh local ingredients from California avocados to artichokes. Naturally, Napa Valley wines are complementary - and memorable - part of the experience.

Like the Brown Derby and other notable Disney hot spots, 1923 merges Hollywood glamour with Disney whimsy in two lavishly appointed dining rooms named for the men behind the magic - Walt and Roy Disney. More than 1,000 drawings, props, and other memorabilia grace the walls from, early Disney animation still from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Frozen 2.

Animator’s Palate (Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder)
Where does a Disney animator go when they need a little nosh? If they’re aboard a Disney cruise ship they’d head straight to the Animator’s Palate where TV screens line the walls and beloved characters from Finding Nemo come to life to visit with you while you dine.

Animator’s Palate is home to Animation Magic, an interactive dinner show that brings guests in on the animation fun as they dine. Test your animation skills by drawing Disney characters on your placemats; your servers will collect them so they can be shared throughout the dining room on full-size screens, complete with your name - and yes, your artwork will be returned to you - with the addition of a real animators stamp! Special proprietary Disney software brings your drawings to life complemented by a brand-new musical score and never-before-seen scenes from Disney films.

How cool is that?

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure (Disney Wish)
Welcome to Disney’s first Frozen-themed theatrical dining experience where Arendelle comes to life with you and your family at the center of it all. Dine on Norwegian-fusion fare (still family friendly) while entertained by your favorite characters, from Queen Elsa, to Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf (our favorite).

Unique to the Disney Wish, attend the royal engagement celebration of Queen Anna and Kristoff. Pick up the story right where Frozen 2 left off. Elsa and Olaf host a party of royal proportion, with catering provided by their friend Oaken’s “Hearty Party Planning Service… and Sauna.” Sing along with “local” musicians specializing in Nordic renditions of your favorite Frozen songs. Join in on crafts, hilarious sing-alongs, and a grand finale that will have the entire party up on their feet.

Enchanted Garden (Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy)
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Enchanted Garden is among the main dining restaurants on the Dream and Fantasy. Visit by day as see a bright blue sky above; stop by during the evening meal, and you’ll find that you’re now dining beneath an enchanting sky full of starts.

The Enchanted Garden is also your chance to dine in the famous gardens of Versailles, France - or to feel as though you are. White trellises, arches, and landscape artwork do the scene, complemented by glass flowers and light posts lining the center aisle. See the glass flowers “bloom” and glow each evening as the gardens come to life, with a seven-foot-tall fountain and Mickey Mouse statue at their center.

Lumiere’s (Disney Magic)
Exclusive to the Disney Magic, the Beauty and the Beast themed Lumiere’s features elegant French décor and is the most formal of the Magic’s three main restaurants. This is your Belle moment - simply tie your napkin round your neck, cherie, and let the Disney team do the rest. Be sure to try the gray stuff; it’s delicious.

Plaza de Coco (Disney Treasure)
Coming soon!

Still in development, with the christening of the Disney Treasure, Plaza de Coco will become the world’s first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar film, Coco. Pick up where the movie left off, enjoying two nights of colorful, music-filled journeys that celebrate Miguel’s family memories while you savor modern twists on traditional Mexican fare.

Rapunzel’s Royal Table (Disney Magic)
Is your dream to celebrate Rapunzel’s birthday? This is your chance! Sit back and let the celebration begin as a joyous band of musicians, the mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs, and Princess Rapunzel herself serenade you in your seats.

Tiana’s Place (Disney Wonder)
No more almost - Tiana is finally there, and you can taste her delicious southern fare at this popular Princess and the Frog themed spot where live jazz and entertainment and New Orleans-style specialty dishes combine to make you feel like you’re right on Bourbon street - and in the film itself.

Triton’s (Disney Wonder)
You are out at sea, after all. What else would you expect? The Magic’s version of Lumiere’s, this The Little Mermaid themed restaurant is formal, upscale dining fit for a King.

Royal Court (Disney Fantasy)
Enjoy French-style, continental cuisine inspired by Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty. Designed to give you the experience of dining inside a royal palace, features include a whimsical chandelier, lighting fixtures made to look like Cinderella’s Carriage, mosaic tile princess murals, and hidden images of glass slippers, apples, roses, and tiaras to search for while you dine.

Royal Palace (Disney Dream)
Royal Palace serves French-inspired cuisine fit for a king or queen. The decor is inspired by classic Disney Princess films, including hand-painted portraits of Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle.

Worlds of Marvel (Disney Wish, Disney Treasure)
How cool is this? Worlds of Marvel allows you to play an interactive role in an action-packed Avengers mission, the first cinematic dining adventure with an Avengers mission. You’ll even dine from a worldly menu inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Avengers: Quantum Encounter” follows Ant-Man and The Wasp as they embark on their first public speaking engagement on behalf of the Avengers. Anxious to impress, they host a special presentation of the most powerful Super Hero technologies, such as Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s arc reactor, and Ant-Man’s Pym Particles, giving guests an up-close look at holographic models, field reports, and iconic scenes from Marvel movies displayed on the screens surrounding the room.

The highlight is a hands-on demonstration of the latest and greatest Pym Tech, the Quantum Core, which uses cutting-edge — and highly unstable — technology to shrink and grow targets at the push of a button. A few “misfires” result in hilarious Ant-Man-style hijinks, but the real trouble begins when an unexpected villain shows up with a fearsome army in tow, eager to get their hands on this powerful quantum technology. Ant-Man and The Wasp need all the help they can get to save the day, calling on Captain America, Captain Marvel and the brave diners of the Disney Wish for backup.

Put on Your Fancy Pants: Inside Premium Dining on Disney Cruise Line
While Disney Cruise Line was designed for families, Disney also knows that family begins with mom and dad (or mom and mom, or dad and dad, or just mom, or…). Regardless of who captains your family ship, it’s nice to know that there are adult-exclusive restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line ships to provide some necessary grown up time - and to let the kids go have some fun of their own.

Elegant, formal, and sophisticated, these restaurants naturally have a dress code in line with the adult atmosphere. Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended, al though more casual attire is acceptable properly executed - i.e. dress pants but without a suit coat, jeans in good condition with more formal collared shirts and blouses, etc. T-shirts, swimsuits, and athletic wear are understandably not permitted.

Take a look inside Disney Cruise Line’s Premium dining spots.

Enchanté (Disney Wish, Disney Treasure)
Easily the most luxurious dining experience available aboard Disney Wish, Enchanté is headed by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement of L’Assiette Champenoise. Chef Lallement is among the culinary masterminds who created the fine dining experience at Remy (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy), and helps to put Disney Cruise Line dining on par with some of the finest ships in the world.

Palo (Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder)
270-degree ocean views and exceptional Northern Italian cuisine make Palo a dining experience to remember. Only available to adults 18 and over only, advance reservations are required, but worth it - the view from Palo is perhaps the best view on the entire ship (although it’s important to note you can only experience it before only “viewable” before sunset; the dark seas and interior lights of the restaurant of course make an ocean view impossible). Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy guests also have the option if dine outside on Palo’s private teak deck.

Palo Steakhouse (Disney Wish, Disney Treasure)
An evolution of the popular Palo found on the other ships, Palo Steakhouse merges relaxed sophistication with modern steakhouse flair, all of it inspired by Cogsworth, our favorite majordomo-turned-enchanted-clock - and perpetually exceptional host.

Remy (Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy)
Experience adults-only premier dining at this French-inspired restaurant is named for the world’s tiniest (only?) rat-turned-chef. Fresh, seasonal ingredients define this menu by Chef Arnaud Lallement of Enchante, and Chef Scott Hunnel, of Walt Disney World’s signature restaurant Victoria & Albert’s. See if you can spot the real Remy among the Art Nouveau decor.
