Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or 'The Poly' as it's affectionately known, transports guests to the South Pacific with swaying palms, tropical landscaping, and immersive island architecture. As one of Walt Disney World’s original resorts, it blends nostalgic Disney charm with modern comforts and one of the most desirable locations on property.
From the scent of tropical flowers to the sound of island music drifting through the pathways, the Polynesian creates an atmosphere that feels both relaxing and distinctly magical. With monorail access, spacious rooms, and exceptional dining, this Deluxe Resort continues to be a favorite for families and longtime Disney fans alike.
From May 2025 through 2026, some areas of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are being refurbished. This work includes the reconfiguration of the front entrance roadway and bus area. While construction activity will be noticeable during daytime hours, efforts will be made to minimize disruptions. All Resort dining, pools and amenities will remain available. Additionally, some views of the theme parks and other surrounding areas may be impacted. Please allow for extra travel time when arriving at or leaving the Resort.
