1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian: Is the Wish Makers Character Buffet Worth It?
Updated October 2026
Want to meet Cinderella, Tiana, Mirabel, and Aladdin over a buffet in a carousel-themed dining room? Welcome to 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The restaurant reopened in 2024 with a new "power of a wish" theme along with a new character lineup for both breakfast and dinner.
If you're deciding whether it's worth the reservation, who you'll meet, and what's on the buffet, you're in the right place!
Quick verdict: This is a fun meal and a good chance for a princess meet and greet outside of the parks, but we found the seating a little crowded and the character interactions limited compared to similar dining experiences. The food was delicious.

The Wish Makers Experience
The restaurant is themed around wishes that come true. Portraits of the characters hang around the room, while carousel theming and whimsical decor take you back to the early 20th century. Keep an eye out for Big Bertha, the turn-of-the-century organ from France that has been at the Grand Floridian since 1988.
The characters celebrate the power of a wish. Guests receive a wish card with the characters' signatures on one side and space for their own wish on the other. During your meal, there will usually be a wish ceremony where you will write you wish on the card and hold it up to "hopefully" help it come true.
Meeting the Wish Makers
Typical characters you'll meet include Cinderella, Tiana, Mirabel, and Aladdin. They visit each table throughout the meal while you eat, so you can go back to the buffet again and again. Keep an eye on where the characters are in the dining room to time your visits to the buffet correctly and avoid missing anyone. If you do miss a character, just tell your server or the character attendant.
The characters will make the rounds which can take 90 minutes or longer so be prepared to take your time and enjoy the meal.
